PET Bottles Collection

We collect PET bottles from more than a hundred scrap units, segregate and bale them in order to sell to recycling companies. We have a dedicated unit for the same in Wadakkanchery of Thrissur district, Kerala. Every month we segregate and bale around 70 tons of PET bottles.

Recycling companies convert the post-consumer PET by crushing and melting it down into polyester which is used to manufacture jeans, shoes, t-shirts, bags, chairs, sandals, swimsuits, etc.

Many famous brands have been using this revolutionary process to produce some finest fashion trends. Levi’s, the world’s oldest jeans brand, introduced a collection of denim incorporating post-consumer waste, specifically recycled plastic bottles, in 2013.
