RECLAPS is on its way to be the best waste management company in Thrissur, Kerala. The company directors Mr. Sajeev Ansari and Mr. Murshid PM successfully completed the six-week Technology-Based Entrepreneurship Development Program (TEDP) in Applied Electronics and Networking (2019-20) conducted by Technology Business Incubator (TBI) of National Institute of Technology, Calicut. The program was facilitated by the People’s Foundation.
Technology Business Incubator (TBI) was designed to identify, support, and nurture talented young entrepreneurs from across the country and help them realize their dreams. The major objective of the program was to provide educated youths and graduates who aspire to be self-employed with intensive training on entrepreneurship and management of small-scale industrial or service projects. The course covered the following topics:
1.Product/project identification,
2.Preparation of feasibility report,
3.Procedures of starting small-scale enterprises,
4.Business plan preparation,
5.Financial management,
6.Marketing strategies, and
7.Financial and subsidy schemes for new entrepreneurs.
Training sessions were led by experts in the respective fields. Successful entrepreneurs, renowned industrial consultants specialized in micro and small projects, and chartered accountants were invited to deliver lectures and offer mentorship.
By attending the program and securing course certificates, RECLAPS intends at developing a more successful entrepreneurship model in waste management and recycling and so growing as the best waste management company in Thrissur.
